It has been a truly blessed week. This past Sunday, after church, the Higham's departed from Pittsburgh and made the journey south to the shores of Bethany Beach, Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. It's the vacation we have been looking forward to for months; a week at the beach.
We decided to share this week with you our readers, via video instead of blog, simply because we didn't think we'd actually have time to blog. And we were right. We have been so busy, trying to make the most out of every day. And while we didn't record everything, we tried to vlog the activities that we thought would be most enjoyable to watch. The rest of the time, we tried to snap some photos. We'll share the photos later in a gallery here on the blog once we sort through all the images.
But for now, we'd love to share with you our family vlog. This week we decided to rename the vlog from The Higham Family Vlog to Life in the Higham House. Life in the Higham House was the original name of our blog way back in the day (2005). We thought that Life in the Higham House was a little more ideal for our vlog, so we brought it back. You can now look us up on Youtube with a quick search of Life at the Higham House.
So please take a few minutes at check out our vlogs at Life in the Higham House on Youtube.
And starting on August 14th, the Higham's will be publishing a weekly newsletter with information about the Higham's and their ministry to family. Everything from our daily blog posts, to vlog updates, to great articles we have found helpful by other bloggers and writers. So be sure to subscribe so you don't miss anything.
Thanks for reading today's post! We really appreciate our readers and hope to continue to encourage you and your family. We would also like to get to know you, so please comment below, look us up on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, watch us on Youtube and Periscope, or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org!
- the higham family
Hi we're Jay & Amy, and we've been married for 19 years and are super blessed to be busy raising our 5 kids; 4 boys and 1 girl. We juggle the adventures of life and ministry and share what we are learning as it relates to marriage, family, raising kids, serving in the church, and chasing after Jesus. Raising a family is hard work, especially in today's culture. But our hope is to encourage you and your family, as we live for the glory of God.
Thanks for taking the time to read The Higham Family Blog. Each week we try to share new content about something we are learning, something we love, or something to offer encouragement to the family. We love to hear from our readers, so please share your thought in the comment section of each post.
